Some of the day to day of the job includes:

 

• Directing, coordinating and planning essential central hard & soft services such as mail (it's receiving and distribution), archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling and liaising with building management service such as security and reception.

• Maintain the building fabric, both externally (terraces) and internally of our London head office to the high standards in accordance to building regulations, manufacturers recommendations, building management contracts and agreed budgets.

• Maintain hard & soft services within the building to the high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets - and making sure services hit their agreed SLAs

• Manage contractor relationships to ensure best service and value is being delivered.

• Oversee and periodically inspect work carried out by soft service contractors to ensure the standards achieved and maintained in line with the contractual Service Level Agreement.

• Support an effective building and fabric program by proactively reporting any damage or works to the Helpdesk ensuring all works and jobs are logged and lifecycle managed effectively. This is achieved through proactive periodical building checks by the front-of-house teams.

• Manage Team Leaders within the FM team, with the responsibility for the financial viability, planning, co-ordination and delivery of Hard & Soft Services.

• Work closely and effectively with the other teams within New Look including Asset Management, Finance, H&S, Performance, HR, Quality and Compliance colleagues.

• Ensure proactive daily checks of all areas reporting all findings requiring attention and ensure jobs are logged and completed in line with contractor and sub-contractor agreed SLA’s.

• Monitor health and safety requirements for your area, ensuring site is compliant in line with standard requirements that facilities comply with legislation.

• making sure we have suitable numbers of wardens and trained first aiders onsite. Regular refresher training to be undertaken for all wardens and key static marshals ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.

• Support the project manage the office moves and physical changes required to support to any new ways of working including the procurement of new furniture and décor.


 

We're interested in people who:

• Have experience in managing a commercial building

• Are comfortable setting and managing contractual Service Levels Agreements and KPIs

• Have experience of both client side and FM third party provider

• IOSH Managing Safely

• Quality Management (ISO 9001)

• COSHH

• P&L and WIP Management

• Expert with the whole Microsoft office suite.
