About the Role:


• Supervision and support of the AP Processing team (including training, development and recruitment)
• Ensure that all supplier payment expectations are met
• Ensure that team daily processing deliverables are achieved, accurately recorded and are mitigated when circumstance dictates
• Ensure  continual reconciliation of stock matching control accounts, ensuring accurate GRNO balance & aging is maintained
• Continuous support to Company goal of 100% PO compliance
• Manage & maintain all documentation for  teams processes, supplier information packs, job description , and training documentation
• Support internal audit function with aim of  enduring no control issues at annual external Audit review
• Ensure that highest level of customer service is maintained in all dealings with both internal & external customers
• Represent AP in relevant projects as they arise
• Ensure that a “Group” approach is maintained at all times and that the same level of service is provided regardless of the geographical location of internal customers.

 

About YOU:


• Low level accounting qualification or qualified by experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and suppliers.
• Good organisational skills and able to work to tight timescales and a laid down timetable.
• Strong service level and transaction driven background to consistently hit a high level of KPIs.
• “Can do” attitude and good problem solving skills.
• Commercial and practical approach in resolving day to day issues.
• Ability to map and record control processes.
• Able to work within strict policy and procedural guidelines.
• Technical abilities require the competent use of a PC, to include: Excel, Outlook, Finance Systems.
