The Role:

New Look has ambitious plans to transform our business and we are looking for a Programme Manager to be responsible for delivering key elements of our transformation plan. You'll be expected to shape and structure one or more programmes and mobilise the project teams across functions needed to deliver the agreed business outcomes. You will work closely with the leadership teams in your programme area and collaborate with others across the wider transformation plan to ensure successful delivery of the programme.

Accountabilities -
For each programme you will be accountable for:
• Agreement to, and delivery of, the programmes outcomes and requirements.
• Creation and management of the integrated delivery plan (to include all relevant activities required to achieve the agreed outcome including any change management).
• Engaging stakeholders across the business to ensure cross functional changes are fully understood and appropriately managed to maximise benefits and minimise business disruption
• Managing and leading the day-to-day activities of the programme and the programme team.
• Agreeing and executing against an appropriate governance model for the programme in line with New Look standards.
• Driving prompt decision making within the project team and with the programme’s stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluating programme and project performance to ensure they are delivering against business objectives
• Escalation of programme issues and suggested mitigations to relevant stakeholders.
• Management of all internal resources and third-party suppliers required to deliver the programme outcomes.
• Creation and management of the programme budget and forecast in line with New Look Finance formats and requirements.  This will include monitoring expenditure and costs against realised benefits.

Functional Knowledge –
• Expert knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programme delivery
• Good business case development skills
• Expert knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
• Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties.

About You:

• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with many types of audiences and articulate complex subjects or issues in simple ways
• Experience of working closely with multiple Executive and Director level stakeholders.
• The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
