A great new role and opportunity to join the team in our Lymedale Distribution Centre! To support Planning Manager and wider Logistics function with data reporting and analysis across all planning streams

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Own, maintain & develop daily and weekly reporting across all planning streams
• Analyse Logistics and trading trends to support future short, mid and long term planning.
• Manage and maintain stock forecasts and analysis making recommendations and working cross functionally across the teams to mitigate any stock issues
• Maintain Key Variables database and DC KPI reports to assist in DC labour and resource planning
• Support the DC as a link to the BMD and Supply Chain teams challenging where appropriate
• Support with Peak planning and growth plans through reporting and analysis with recommendations made to the Planning Managers
• Continually review processes between teams and look at ways to improve planning processes and outputs.
• Produce and maintain weekly planning presentation packs & present to senior management
• Own, Maintain and develop Key Milestone Planning
• Attend cross functional meetings to independently represent the department and Logistics function making recommendations and feeding back to the Planning team
• Show a willingness to learn and develop, demonstrating the Company’s core values
• Deputise for the Planning Manager across all streams when required ensuring consistent communication across the leadership team eg HoP, GM, HoE
• Maintain high level of communications with clear and concise outputs
Technical and Behavioural Skills
Essential Skills
• Knowledge of the warehouse systems and working practices in Retail/DC Logistics
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of Multi-Channel operations
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Advanced knowledge of Business Objects or similar type software
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Access Skills an advantage
• Visual Basics Skills an advantage

Knowledge & Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Logistics / Planning department or similar role
• Analytical knowledge
• Logistics Operations knowledge
• Demand Planning and forecasting
• Knowledge of WMS
• Supply Chain and Commercial awareness
Measures / Key Performance Indicator’s

• Service and support to Planning Manager and wider Logistics functions
• Reporting documents issued timely and accurately
• Consistent & positive feedback from senior team
